Forgive me for this "girlish post". For the record I am a responsible veterinarian in my eveyday life...:)
I have been taking my young DWB, whom I hope to event a bit to hunter shows to focus on our jumping. It has been going well, so we are trying a combined test tomorrow. I dug out my stock ties and remembered I bought a simple, pleated European style one as the regular ones (pre-tied) seem very bulky for my small neck (size 0-2 person). Is this appropriate for the jumping portion of a CT? Maybe get a kid's stock tie-do they make these?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

You can wear a stock, but you certainly don't have to. A choker is perfectly appropriate.

And if it's hot and they waive coats, you won't need neckwear at all :)(providing your shirt isn't sleeveless, of course)

I just received this in the mail. It is very nice.

I also really like something like this: http://www.horseoncourse.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10333&currency=USD

I wear mine over a long sleeved riding shirt bc I like my shirt cuffs to show at the end of my jacket sleeves. This bib affair really does work over a polo or ratty old t-shirt! If it is cold, I wear it over a white turtle neck. Just make sure the stock tie itself is real and that you have to actually tie it yourself.
