Edgar just sent me the news that he did get Donna in foal to Rubignon. Very excited to see this little black baby next year!

Congrats! How exciting, should be a very nice foal.
Is the foal yours? Are you planning on keeping it?

And why would it be black?
Don't bet on it!
Congratulations!

Congratulations Melissa!!! I'm sure that will be a winning combination!!
Ms. Dallara is in foal to Rousseau for 2010. I can't wait... She's still the light of my life :)

Weird, I was just thinking about her the other day. I remember when you bought her, she's stuck in my mind all this time because she's so beautiful. Sad to hear she's retired now, but it's cool she's going to be a mom . Congratulations!

Yeah - looking at their pedigrees, you've got a 25% chance of a chestnut baby in that mix ;) Congrats either way! Here's to a filly for you :D

the pedigree on Donna on allbreeds isn't 100% correct on the tail damline. She is black and carries chestnut, but Rubignon doesn't appear to carry chestnut that I can see? So i think the odds are in the favor of black or black bay for this baby. But who knows.
But it should be a great one - 2 Internationally competed FEI horses bred! How often do you see that!
But - alas for me - the new one will belong to Edgar - so all best wishes should go to him!
Of course now that i know she isn't super hard to get in foal I am already thinking about 2010 as I get my turn that year..... Florianus is a leading contender for sure in my mind.
Liza- I was just talking to someone about Dallara today:-) We have a lovely DaCaprio/Ravallo mare at our barn. Very much like Dallara- just taller! Be sure to give Ms Diva a cookie from her first mom!
