Horse registries

Hey I need some help!!! I'm trying to decide what to register my colt with. He is 1/2 Irish Sport Horse and 1/2 Westphalian. He can be registered with American Warmblood Association, Oldenburg/ISR society, the Wesphalian Association, the Swedish Warmblood Association. So let me know what you think I should do or if you have any suggestions let me know.

Any of them could be fine choices but find out what is convenient to go to and most affordable.

Well, obviously, anytime someone has a problem deciding, I'd have to recommend WTF Registry. But assuming you want some stodgy ol' Euro registry :lol:

OK, all kidding aside - I agree with NotAgain - why not register him 1/2 Irish? Assuming he is a gelding, so future offspring registry choices don't matter, what are you looking for in a registry? I'd go with the one that provides what you need - jumper award programs, dressage programs, etc. And the one that is easiest to get to - if you need to be inspected, which registries have inspections that are within reasonable driving distance (to me, ease of access, a one hour drive versus a ten hour drive, is a huge deciding factor for non-breeding stock;)).
