I've been out of it for a while, so can anyone tell me what the heights are for these classes?
Maiden Working Hunter
Novice Working Hunter
Pre-Green Working Hunter
Okay, question answered.
What tells if my horse is ready to go to a show to do these low classes? We're schooling well above 2' at home, have simple changes and some flying changes (depending on speed), consistent pace, and decent spots.

It really depends what level of show you're talking about. :)
At a local or county-level show, you're probably going to see the fence heights for maiden start at about 2 foot, novice a hole higher and pre-green probably 2'9" (usually there's a baby green set a hole lower than pre-green).
The higher the rating of the show, the higher the fence height, although pre-greens will pretty much always top out at 3 foot to 3'3" so as to not break the horse's first year status.
And welcome back!

Maiden and Novice Hunter are not USEF recognized divisions, so they could be any height. It should say in the prize list.
Pre-greens at a USEF show are usually around 3'-3'3".

Check the prize list as these are not nationally rated...except for the Pre Green at 3'.
But, if it is unrated by USEF and not recognized by any of it's affiliates (like the Michigan H/J Association) it can be whatever they want and it will not count against any status at the rated level...because it is not a rated show.

Sounds like your typical local show- changing the names and heights to fit their needs. Ack, I pray nightly for uniformity.

Yup, that prize list looks exactly like a county- or regional-level show. And one you get next week for a different association will call the classes -- and have the fence height -- something else.
Essentially, this show has dedicated one ring to the lower fence heights (and presumably greener horses/riders, although reriders are often right in there, too) and another ring for the more seasoned folks. Biggest problem is for the trainer juggling clients in both rings. :p
But the prize list is your friend.

Its a LMHJA series show. I don't think I'm gonna be ready to show this weekend though.
