How does their seat sizing run? It is normal, big, small?

I'm 5'4" and I ride in an 18" pinerolo monoflap, standard flap size. I am pretty long knee to hip, but the 17.5 felt really small on me.

Do you normally ride in a 17.5? I'm pretty long from knee to hip myself.

Yes. Depends on the saddle. I rode in an A/P before I got my monoflap, and it was a 17.5 My dressage saddle is a 17 I think, perhaps a 17.5.
