Exciting for my Working Student Position :)

I am wandering over from Hunter/Jumper land to share some good news! I will be leaving tomorrow morning to be a working student at an eventing farm in Southern Pines for a little over a week. I am super excited! I was going to bring my own horse but he unfortunatly was injured about a month ago. But I am leaving him in good hands and am excited to ride some of the horses at the farm. Wish me luck! I will let all my fellow COTHers know how it goes and if I come back an eventer ;).

Sounds like fun!! :) I am sure you will have a blast... sometimes it's just as nice riding other horses and not bringing your own (I have done it both ways).

I work and live in So. Pines and I love it here. Who are you going to be working with??

Congratulations! Sounds really fun! Welcome to the eventing club! :lol: How did you get your position? I would love to get some working student positions at different barns. Also, was there an age limit? It seems like most barns don't want anyone younger than 18. But anyways! :) Have fun!! That sucks that you couldn't take your horse, but hey, riding new horses is always good!! :yes:
