Love to school at GW. We have 3 or 4 going from here but I will have to wait til the winter school. Too far and expensive for me at this time.

ME ME ME!!!!!
I'm going with Mandy (aka texaseventer) and her trainer.
I am so excited!!! I will be doing Novice and if I am brave some Training stuff (like logs ). Missy (my mare) & I have done most of the Novice stuff there in March (?) so we will see what we do. Mandy will most likely be rocking ALL of the Novice stuff and I am going to bet ALL of the Training stuff
Lucky me, Greenwood is only 45 minutes from my barn :D

Goody! I'm glad some people are going. I was bummed that some people might be scared off by the weather we've had. I emailed Christie, she says that they didnt get much rain.

I'm taking my new horse out for a hack only as it will be his first time out.
GW has an expensive schooling fee and I am best off waiting until he can do a little more before dishing out full fees. $55 bucks to walk over logs is a little extreme for me. lol.
Denton Creek and Quail Run are also hosting schooling weekends this month.

Yeah, I hear you! I advised one of the girls going for her first time to just pay the $15 hacking fee. I doubt she'll jump, its for the experience this time!

Yay! It's almost here!
I cannot wait - I've got my "big girl panties" all ready to go. Not to mention the triple vodka and oj I'll be downing before I start jumping. Yes, Mere... I'll do some training but not without a teeny bit of liquid courage! :)
See y'all there!

I had Bella in the trailer this morning when the sky opened. Don't know if it will dry up enough to go tomorrow, or not. Christi is going to let some people school Mon., but I can't get off work. :(

Just got an e-mail that, because of the rain, schooling has been extended through Monday August 3rd. The course will close on August 4th.

I schooled yesterday and the footing was surprisingly okay considering the amount of rain we've received recently. I jumped all of the novice fences on my greenie. It was AWESOME! I think he’s telling me he doesn’t want to be a hunter.
As I was coming in from schooling an ambulance was pulling out of the parking area. I hope no one was seriously hurt. **Jingles for all involved**
