I saw this in the valleyvet catalogue and was wondering how many folks use them and how helpful they are when towing. It looks like it would be extremely helpful for seeing whats directly behind the trailer. Opinions?

We use them. You can buy them cheaper at www.tweeties.com (http://www.tweeties.com) - Very convenient to put on, easy to adjust and quite helpful. :D

We use something similar. Once you get used to it, it's hard to trailer without it. Really, really helpful in knowing someone is back there, tailing you  too close. My SO is religious about putting it on for trailering, even if we're just going 5 minutes up the road.

We've used them as well and they work great. The only thing I don't like about them is the shakey reflection you get from the vibration of the engine.

I have one. It was a great confidence booster when I first started with the trailer, but I have to say it's been years since I've bothered to put it on.

I pull a Brenderup -- possibly if I had a bigger trailer, I might still find the extra mirror more essential.
