Finally pregnacies! Thank you Equine Reproduction!!

Had my last 2 mares scanned today after a long and frustrating breeding season!

3-attempts each on them and I finally sent them up to Kathy and Jos to manage- brought them home post ovulation and have 2 beautiful embryos now because of them! yay!! THANK YOU!!

Godiva (AHS mare by Goldschlager/ Absatz) is in foal to Landfriese with her 9th foal
Censation WH ( GOV mare by Cabalito) is in foal to Rubingon- (this is her first horse foal- she has had 3 stunning large ponies when bred to welsh stallions so I am so excited for this cross! Fingers crossed for a filly!!

So many thanks to their careful management, attention to detail and actually caring about producing pregnancies! Had to find these days with lots of vet clinics :(

Our season has also been very frustrated and we still have no confirmed pregnancies after many go arounds with frozen. First preg check is thursday. Hope this is a sign things are picking up:yes:

Things here are also not going as smoothly as we would have hoped. We do have two confirmed in foal, but two others we still haven't checked. One was on her second try (totally the fault of the stallion- we had to switch to another), and the last mare is on her third try (she did get in foal on her second cycle but it was gone by 30 days). This last cycle on the fourth mare did not go well. She did not want to ovulate and only did so three days after her second dose of semen (we could not get another shipment due to a weekend). So, I will have between 2-4 foals in 2010. In any case, I am done for the season...

That is great news! It's been tough for us as well, breeding 8 mares this year and at the beginning of July only 3 in foal... now we're up to 4, two awaiting checks next week. It's been a weird year!
