I have a Jazz blob...

Thank you to everyone who offered me advice on the Jazz frozen semen.

I used it on a Weltmeyer mare in June, and this morning we had a positive pregnancy scan at 15 days... I saw my Jazz x Weltmeyer blob for the very first time!

When the semen was thawed out it was over 60% motility (more like 65%) so I have been secretly hoping we would have a positive scan :)

Only 11 months to go :D:D:D

Does anyone else have any Jazz babies due in 2010?

We have not had the easiest breeding season. After two attempts with Vivaldi frozen (and a lot of money down the pan later) I opted for the Jazz. I feel as though it is a little nudge from fate, as Jazz was my first choice for this mare originally, but I was anxious about how hot it would be, so I chose my second choice. When all was not well with the Vivaldi semen, I knew that it had to be Jazz :) But this baby has been bred for me, it could be once in a lifetime horse if all goes well!

Centuree... Of course, videos of a bouncing orange baby will be supplied :D I have a feeling it is going to be a colt, I don't know why, but it is there non the less.
