Anyone ever ordered from them? Yea or nay? They have some stuff I want and free shipping if you order $100+, but I've never ordered from them before so I'm wary..
(Oh, and their site is just adamshorsesupply . com , if anyone's wondering.)

Not always THE quickest (depends on whether the item is in stock or not) but I have ALWAYS been happy with my orders.

What is their average time from placing your order to it showing up at your door?

A lot of the stuff they get drop shipped from the manufacturer. That stuff can take a few weeks. If it's something Adams has in stock, they will get it to you in a couple days-- very reasonable. When you call, as if what you want is an in stock item. All the Rambo turnouts I have ordered have been drop shipped. All the stable supplies/clothing has been in stock.

I was going to do an online order, but it might be best to call.

I've ordered from them before - super fast shipping... received my stuff in only a couple of days (but I am only one state away). I did have to return something and they refunded w/ no questions and it was extremely fast. Yes I would order from them again w/out hesitation!! :)

Good to know about the refunds too, I think that says A LOT about a company, how they deal with refunds/returns.

I've ordered a couple things from them over the years... If i've had a problem, I believe her name was Rose, was always very helpful in fixing it. One of the last things I ordered was a bevel (or wonder) bit, which was not in stock - although it did not say on the website. They emailed me right away, I think it may have taken an extra 4 or 5 days for me to get it. I have found that they have some of the best prices on some of the products, although I've not ordered anything as of recent.

My one order with them did not go well. It vanished into the ether, and when I contacted them several days later to see if it was ever going to ship they had no record of the order and none of the things I wanted were available :(

That sucks. :(
I think I'll definitely do a phone order just to be safe!

"Rose" SFAIK is at equusnow.com --also a great place to order from.
Adams Horse Supply is run by "Merence" (with other competent sales help).
Over the years, I have ordered from both places and have NEVER been dissatisfied with the service, the refunds, the replacements.
Both places seem to understand that customers are hard-won and that it is a good thing to be nice to gain repeat business.

Adam's is fantastic. The owner and employees are extremely helpful and do their job well. I've ordered from them often and always been very happy with the results. Not going to comment on shipping time since I've only shipped to locations within 1-2 hours of the store ;) so my super-prompt shipping won't be as accurate for others. Email communication is usually very prompt. They care a lot about their customers.

Ditto the drop shipping. I ordered a blanket that I needed ASAP, so I paid for upgraded shipping, and stated 4 alternate colors (said send what ever is in stock, I need it ASAP!).
Well, nothing was in stock. Every thing in my order was to be drop shipped (except for a hoof pick! That shipped seperatly!)
I was also told express shipping would be more then I paid, that their website has a glitch and did not charge enough. Well, I told them being as they do not carry the products in stock that I would not pay extra for shipping! The best they could do was have the blanket drop shipped.
Good prices, better not be in a hurry

Good to know - they have very good prices on helmets and I'm thinking of getting new ones for us.

I agree that they are prompt in returning emails.
Just a heads up--if you order bit guards from them, they are sold individually...I speak from experience.

I've always had very good experiences with them, and I've placed two or three orders over three years now.
I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Their e-mail responses are very prompt.

Huge YEAH!!! BEST place to buy, IMO.
Told me the Amigo blanket ran big, saving me a return and reorder. Told me the Mnt Horse Polar Pant ran large. Helped me with sizing on the Cashel soft saddle. 2 thumbs up.

I have ordered from them several times in the past- great customer service and usually pretty good price-wise. However, like others have said, shipping is often SLOW!

I ordered from them in February--they were running a great deal on Wintec saddles and I wanted a close contact model. They were actually running a few different promotions, and I got on the phone with Rose and she worked with me to ensure I got the best deal.
I got the saddle in about 10 days--not bad at all. Would definitely recommend them.
