Has anything new been released? I've read most of the older horsey fiction but am heading to barns and noble and am looking for something new to read. I can't get the 2nd $700 pony book there, can I? Thanks ladies!

This was written online as a soap-style series by author Tish Cohen (Town House, Inside Out Girl).

A fun read if you need your horsey fiction fix! :)

I got my copy off Amazon. Search for "Horse" and all sorts of stuff comes up. It's like Christmas.

It's not new, but get "Horseplay" by Judy Reene Singer - if you haven't already read it. It came out in 2004. It is truly hysterical - a woman leaves her cheating husband, and goes to work as a groom at an exclusive Dressage barn. It's really, really funny - I had to keep putting the book down, I was laughing so hard!

Anybody else ever read this book?

Loved it!!! The part about the clinic had me in stitches. I was at a clinic once that went along similiar lines....brought back a lot of memories. We all sat around saying, "What the h@#l is she trying to get that horse to do?" Never did figure it out.

Loved "Horseplay" too... got a little weird at the end, but I was willing to stick with it. (:

Good Freudian slip!

I read two books by Sara Gruen, Riding Lessons and Flying Changes, that were a little soapy but she knows her horse stuff.

The Tami Hoag books are good. I love horsey mysteries.

You can order the 2nd $700 at BN.

There is a mystery series by the gal who writes the "wine lover" mysteries..."Saddled With Trouble" is one. BN should have them in stock depending on what store it is.

There is also a YA book about a boy who rides dressage, forgot the title.

And a new kiddo series called "Canterbury Crest" that are terrible....Absolutely terrible.
