A friend of mine is having Jan come to her place next month to teach some lessons and was nice enough to include me in the festivities:D. The only time I've ever met Jan was many years ago when I went to her farm to try a horse. I remember her being super nice and very positive. I'm really excited about getting to ride with her, and I want to make sure I'm well prepared. Can anyone give me any insight into her teaching style, what she expects, etc....?

We'll have to meet up at the clinic!!! The girl I work for is planning the clinic with your friend as she is a student of Jan's. I have had the pleasure of being able to watch Jan coach Jess on her advanced horse as well as some of our younger horses and have gotten SO MUCH from just watching! She is so incredibly kind, patient and understanding, but also incredibly educated (trains regularly w/ Wofford and Silva Martin as well as regular US Team stuff) and will blow your socks off with her wealth of knowledge!!!

We are taking our 3* horse to England in August and I've been sweating bullets about the financial situation, but when Jess told me that Jan was going to be coming I didn't miss a beat in reserving my spot! I am SO incredibly excited about getting to have a lesson on Jelly with Jan, I just can't even tell you how awesome it is going to be! After just one lesson and then warm-up on the day-of, Jess rode the best test she's ever ridden at the 3* at The Fork this year. It was like Trevor was a totally different horse! So impressive.

I'm even considering running Jelly Training at the Poplar schooling show the weekend right after the clinic... that's how awesome I'm expecting it to be! Can't wait!!! Hopefully I"ll see you there!

That all sounds awesome!! I'm getting really excited about it. Just look for the girl sitting on the ginormous giraffe looking chestnut horse, and you'll have found me ;)
