I would love to bring in a couple of good clinicians to our barn next year, but am not sure how to even start to look for one. Help!

Make a list of who you might like to have (in order of preference) and start calling them! If you have a hard time finding phone numbers try posting here for specific people and someone will likely know how to get in touch with whomever it may be you need. I would think that you could likely at least get a farm number from Google and that would get you started.
If YOU have no idea who to try to get as a clinician, you might try taking a survey within your barn, surrounding barns, tack stores, etc. (from anyone who you think might have an interest in participating), and see who they might like to have come teach.

Just ask people!
Another idea is going on the USHJA website and checking out the clinic schedule- many of the clinicians on there do a lot of clinics all year long.

I give clinics called, "From the Judge's Stand" for many organizations. I've been judging rated shows for decades and have my big "R". Of course, my rates are less expensive than any famous clinicians but it may be a way to get you starter. I also have excellent references from many clients. PM me for details if you're interested. Good luck.

Don't know the answer to your original question, but if you do get some set up, please publicize! We don't really do out of town shows, so going to an occasional clinic is a real treat and a great way to expand our horizons.

I have an incredible fellow at my barn right now that would LOVE to give a clinic. In fact, he's giving two one-day jumper clinics at my barn in September. His name is Luis Galindo. I've had the pleasure of working with him and his three spectacular horses (and having him work with my horses) for the past week, and I've learned more in that week than I have learned cumulatively in a very, VERY long time.
Luis is the rider in the well-circulated photo/video of a horse jumping a car, and he's also affiliated with the video (and the horse) of a horse free-jumping the moon (not literally, but the horse has an AMAZING jump; both videos have been posted on here numerous times).
I can personally vouch for his wonderful teaching and training methods. He took one of my horses (which had never seen a full course of jumps over 3'6" with me), and rode him to a fourth place in a Level 5/6 Mini Prix last weekend. He knew the horse was ready, even though I was skeptical (and chicken!). It was mesmerizing to watch. He also coached me to very successful entry back into the Level 4 jumper ring on his stallion (a horse that I rode ONCE, less than 24 hours before I showed him).
PM me if you'd like his contact information.
