I'm curious to see what the favorites are besides the padded kind that are designed for riding. What kind are the most comfortable and least visible through breeches?(I'm totally against riding in a thong or going commando) Jockey, Victoria Secret, those "barely there" underwear?

I buy mine in England, at Marks and Spencers.
I'm not going home this year so I'd better have a chat with my stepmother before she comes to visit!

I was going to say the Barely There kind...by far my favorite, in and out of the saddle. Try the boyshorts for no panty lines in breeches. Never get wedgies, either ;)

I don't usually show or ride in my undies.
I wear britches over them.
Sorry - I saw the title of this thread and that's what popped into my head. Been up a while and need more coffee. Or to switch to decaf. Not sure.

Since I have a bit of jiggle to hide, I prefer the Assets brand at Target (they're the Spanx cheapies). The boyshort types do leave a bit of VPL at the leg line, though. I think that the panty ones are designed not to - they have kind of a flare at the bottom that smooths but doesn't bind.

I ride in either a thong or the underwear they sell in Dover that goes down to the top of your knee and offers compression (slims you down a little too :)). I like those better then spanks b/c the material allows breeches to slide over it easily while you're riding. The compression prevents muscle fatigue while on course for me. I've never come across a regular cut pair of underwear that don't give me VPL's and I've tried almost everything.

I don't show, but I ride in those nylon boyshorts they sell at Target. With breeches over them! Chantal Sutherland, I'm not.

ROTFLMAO Swan!! Very good for needing more cafe`.
I had about 5 pairs of M&S low rise undies that were the BEST! They eventually became pretty shredded and I've recently found the Bikinis at Victoria's Secret are the ones I prefer. I wait until they have them on sale for $3 and get those. They are model #70817 #923's. 95%nylon and 5%spandex. I always bought cotton ones until I tried these. No more rubs with these.

Ditto on the Barely There's! They don't keep me as compressed as I would like, but they are soooo breatheable I love'em!

I just wear plain ol' cotton undies- granny panties. Or sometimes bikini briefs (my normal everyday undies). But I ride saddle seat- jods are wool blend and dark colored, not skin tight and stretchy. If I did have noticeable panty lines, the long coat would cover them anyway. I can't imagine stuffing my plumpness into breeches and being seen in public. Saddle seat clothing is so much more flattering to those of us that are larger than a size 5.

I wear the wide-side thongs from VS or Gap. They have nice wide lacey sides so you do not end up with VPL/MuffinTops, provided you wear the right size.

I bought a bunch of the cheap cotton thongs from Target. They are cute, comfortable, and definitely not lacy or too fancy.

Yep, sure is. Black undies to go with the black jods is my only requirement.

Me too! I wear these everyday. Old Navy has them too and a lot of times you can get 4 for $12. Soooo comfortable and you can't see them under low rise or normal breeches.

My body and I have come to an agreement... I don't feed it as much as it would like and I get to look "somewhat" slim in my britches.
I wear a thong. Hate the look of lines.
Must be because of that commerical I saw when growing up.. the one with the lady not wearing Underalls. Damned television!

Victoria's Secret made this seamless type of spandex underwear that's stretchy in their Pink collection. I bought about 5 of them and wear them to show in. SUPER comfy and no panty lines - what more could a girl want?

I wear a brand called On Gossamer. You can get them at Bloomingdales and maybe Nordstroms. They are nylon, but are very comfortable and don't leave much (if any) VPL. Plus, they come in cute colors!

Whatever is first out of the drawer! ;)
I wear mainly cotton shorties though. Very comfy, no lines.
