I saw this horse go at the Circle City GrandPrix and I heard through the grapevine that it is an interesting breed and has an interesting story. Anybody know anything about the horse?
The mare was hot and ready to go and fast but had one rail down.

I met and rode with Julianna Fischer in Germany a few years back. She was a sweet girl and a tremendous rider. I've also seen her show a few times in south FL. I don't know much, but I do know that Lola is registered as a pinto!
ETA: I also know that she's about 15 years old.

I have met Juliana a few times, she is a very sweet girl, I agree.
Lola is a handful! I have seen Juliana hack her at home and she just vibrates with energy. She is a very cool mare!
I don't know her back story, I just know she is small, scopey as heck and very hard to ride.

I saw her go at Devon, she is a little fireball!
Here is a pic I took of her:

Before we built our farm we actually boarded at the same barn as the former owner of Lola. Her owner was an Adult Amateur Jumper who had trained with some big names and she had contacts all over. Lola did very well, but I don't think her owner before Julianna did her above High Amateurs. I always liked the horse, she didn't seem hot then. I remember the former owner moved about the same time she sold Lola (I can't remember the woman's name, but she was very nice). From the record, Julainna has done very well with Lola, but I have not personally seen the two of them go.
Julianna did pony jumpers on Indigo at the same time my daughter did them, so we saw them at a few shows. Very nice girl, I liked the mom. Extremely talented rider.

PM, was that at Apex? That must have been before my time. I don't remember any pinto jumpers. And I notice pintos. ;)
I couldn't see the pic of Lola above-said it's forbidden. I'd love to see it. :)

Limerick it was at Apex. I remember Lola as a gray (a larger version of our Hobie and similar personality) and I knew the owner was close friends with the Fischer's because she had brought up about my daughter getting Indigo and told me she had mentioned to the Fischer's she knew the perfect kid to have Julianna's pony next. I think it was in early 2004 or late '03. Seems like the former owner went to Florida for the winter circuit and then stayed and that's when she sold Lola. I remember being surprised she had sold because she really loved that horse. I wish I could remember her name, she was a very good rider too.

I remember her showing in Raleigh and being very competitive back then in the Adults with her owner (thought her name was Kim something?). She was a hot little thing back then too.

Did that lady have about four other horses?? I think I remember her but she left in late 2004.

Limerick she may have had four, I just don't remember. I know Lola was the main competition horse. And she may have left in late 2004, I just remember it was before we built our own place. But I think it was before we got Tango, not real sure. Melissa would probably remember her, the name "Kim" does sound familiar. I remember she had a very nice 4 horse living quarters trailer I drooled over everytime we were there. We got to know her because she used to come watch D.

How tall is Lola? She doesn't look very big in that picture! Could be the angle though.

What I heard is that Lola is a mustang/arabian/appaloosa cross and originally came from off a slaughter truck/killpen/auction.

Lola used to be in NC the lady who owned her showed her in both the adults and the A/O jumpers...she seemed really nice and her size and unusual breeding stuck in my mind and in Florida a few years later I saw her in the Jr. Jumpers...a cool game horse and what a nice unique story...
Her name was Kim Harker.
