For anyone who followed the devastating fires in Australia a few months ago, Triple R Equine Welfare Organization just posted this video today, which was made by their vet as she traveled the area after the fires, trying to help where she could. It gives you a real idea of the horror and tragedy that everyone faced.

Clearly, there was a lot of quiet heroism taking place in the aftermath, from the people sneaking food to the horses, to the workers in the clinic.
I followed the fires and got constant news from friends in Australia who were scrambling to move their horses. It was terrifying for them.
