I live in Port Lavaca, TX and am looking for an english instructor within a ~45 minute drive. I am looking for a refresher. I rode hunters 15 years ago but my horses are all just trail horses. I've been riding hunt seat for funsies since then with no instructor. I will stick to flat work at this point in my life. At home I have no arena (next year!) and no one to spot me if I fall. I'm toying with trying dressage but only have CC saddles. Although I am not ready to try western anything, I'd love names just in case there are no options. I am settled here but have no riding buddies. I'm in withdrawal. I love having my own place but miss horse people. I find myself riding less and less. Any suggestions? Even people to avoid.
