Tomorrow my 7 (show age 6) 5 and 2 1/2 yr olds are showing leadline. I know I am going to forget something! Help me not to,lol!!
I have:
pants, shirts, jackets, coller/tie, jod straps, boots for all 3.

helmets, sadles, pads, bridles on trailer (already forgot girths!)

camera

juice boxes, snacks, sandwiches....

What else do I need? Am I forgetting anything?

Yes, you are.....sadle is spelled w/ two "d"s = saddle;). Kidding, Take lots of pics and don't get weird. Have a lot of fun. You might want to ask questions of your leadliners. Maybe , how old is your pony? How old are you? ect. Our leadliners were always asked a question by the judge. It could get quite comical

The lead lines?

Put some partially filled water bottles in your freezer right now. In the morning, add water to top them off and put them in the cooler with your other drinks - they work great if you have to set them ringside for a while, and in the meantime the keep the cooler, well, cooler.

Gloves, if any of the kids wear them. Your own outfit. A change of clothes for everybody. Two changes of clothes for you (for after the first 2 horses both slobber on you). Comfortable footwear. Folding camp chairs. Sunscreen. Bug spray (horse and human). Brush box for the horses.

Sense of humor. Double-check that last item.

Have fun!

I swear... one day I will actually type a whole post correctly! Sadly my 8 month old likes to help with her feet!
Oh boy would it get interesting if they are asked questions. My 5 and 2 yr olds don't talk to ANYONE they don't know! I will prep them about questions! I forgot about that. I just think it is going to be such fun for them. That's what this is about! So I hope not to get weird, lol!

A baseball hat if don't want to get sunburn because sunscreen can only do so much. ;)

Rags/Small Towels -- they have an infinite number of uses.

Short-ish Hair Ribbons for the girls - cute little ones are much nicer than long ones. I'm assuming you have a daughter or two, since you said ties/collars instead of just ties. :) But this isn't a necessity, it's just really cute. When I was in jods I cut the ribbon about 6 to 9 inches long and the ribbon was about 1 1/3" wide if that helps.

Have fun, and make sure to bring extra batteries for your camera - first horse shows are something you don't want to miss a minute of!

FOOD for your 7 yr old ( I know him LOL) it could get ugly without his boost of blood sugar!
Smiles for your 5 yr old ( we all know how she can get some mornings LOL)
and the camera because if I don't' get to see your 2 yr old with the GRIN she is going to be wearing I will be really really mad at YOU!!!!!
Have fun and call me I want all the details as soon as they happen! even considering skipping the barn this morning and meeting you there to see it all go down!!

Then hairnets. Don't want flyaways - they're very distracting.
