I have Bonnie ready to begin wearing her bridle, only trouble is..I order what I "think" is the small welsh pony size bridle and the last two headstalls have been WAY too big.
How do you measure for a pony bridle? I am tired of sending back headstalls that are way too big. One bridle was too long (cheek pieces) - she needs ten inch cheek pieces and the last had the throatlatch big enough for a large cob, although the rest of the bridle fit, I could put two hands in the throatlatch even taken up to the last hole - about six inches of space between throat and leather hanging down.
What should I measure and how?
