I was looking through the Pony Finals Auction preview, and I noticed a pony that had in the description:

Qualified 2009 Pony Finals, eligible to re-instate Green for 2010.

How is that possible?

It only takes being champ/reserve at an A show to qualify.
To reinstate Green I believe you have to have done less than 3 shows at the green height.

Kind of a "cheap" advertising ploy, imho.

ETA: I doubt, seriously, that after showing at PF in the greens the reinstatement folks are going to let the pony have a 2nd green year.

Think it is possible if the Pony only showed as Green in a certain number of shows (is it 3?) and I know it has to be before May of that show year as I know people who have reinstated horses. Assume it is the same for Ponies.

And that sale Green Pony is probably in that category, qualified for the Green at PF this year with a single Championship in only one or two shows before May BUT is not being shown at PF, only there to be sold.

He can probably be reinstated as a Green for next year.
