Courtney King Clinic

Have any of you ridden with Courtney King? What is she like as a clinician? I may have the opportunity to ride with her, but would like to know more about what her clinics are like.

Ive watched a clinic and found her to be very monotone

[Raison d'etre]

I rode with her and liked her. She's very, very nice. She usually concentrates heavily on the rider and on the basics (at least with riders up through 2nd level; for upper level riders she concentrated more on the pair). For example, with one rider, she spent the entire lesson trying to get the girl to relax her elbows. It seems like a very simple and basic thing, but the basics make a difference. I think you'll be surprised at what she picks out to work on with you.

Our stallion Don Principe was a participant last year. Courtney had a lot of good tips for his rider, Jim Koford and even got on herself the second day.
I think Courtney is well worth watching. YOu don't get to be a USEF Team rider without knowing what you are doing!
