Looking for Carpet Fiber Footing Washington State

I am trying to find a "fix" for our indoor arena footing. It is a mixture of sand and broken down wood fiber. It gets heavy and packs when watered. I thought adding some carpet fiber might be a good fix. If anyone has a lead on where to find it in bulk within reasonable distance of North West Washington State (lower mainland BC would work too..) please let me know!
