Vorwerk announced it on their site, so I don't have to keep the "secret" any more. These stallions are coming to DLL (Dressurpferdeleistungszentrum
Lodbergen), the stable where my horses are too. It will be a pleasure to see them every day and I can assure everyone they will only receive the best care, and, for those still in training, training.

It is a completely renovated stable managed by Markus Gribbe, and backed by a consortium of sponsors, who also support Mrs. Harli Siefert's breeding operation. It is so exciting!

Markus has also already this year had success with Farewell III and Dr. Doolittle for Gestut Klatte (who have also been super nice to all of us), and is likely to be receiving many more interesting young and older horses/stallions for training, as well as teaching his private clients. Let me tell you - it is definitely "eye candy" at the barn with all the nice horses, including my own that have done so well with Markus training me and them. ;) I am just getting my feet wet here in the big tour in Germany, but step by step it is coming together...

I am really happy for Markus and his wife Sylvia that the move to Germany is working out so well. They deserve it!

And congratulations to these stallions that will be "joining the family" with the other stallions previously owned by Mrs. Siefert, Rubin Royal, Rubin Cortes and Don Chico.

I had heard from someone in Germany this might be happening. Congrats to DLL and Markus Gribbe. And hooray for you, to be able to see those boys on a regular basis.

I hope the move goes smoothly, esp. for Don Gregory and Rohdiamant. They are older stallions (21 and 19 y/o, respectively), and Vorwerk has been their home for so long. Many jingles to them as they settle into their new digs.

Here is the Eurodressage article: http://www.eurodressage.com/news/dressage/germany/2009/gribbe-lodbergen.html

The stallions won't come I think until after breeding season. The stallion stables are really nice and big with private paddocks, excellent feed and general care, so hopefully they will settle in just fine! Besides, I am sure they will rather move just some 20 kilometers away rather than shipping to another continent like some other older stallions do!

I am enjoying it Kris so will treasure each moment while I can keep the balance between family, work and showing over here now and then.

Who is Dylano?

Dylano is te 3c premium from last year - Dimaggio - Landadel. A leggy chestnut that will be interesting to see develop.
