I sent in the inital foal report for my SF colt to france over a month ago and haven't heard anything yet. In the letter I asked for a confirmation email when the paperwork arrived. I am contemplating emailin Patrick Clerin but wanted to know what sort of time periods people have been dealing with when sending paperwork to france. Thanks.

i do think they are not doing anything since they closed shop in the USA.

Jesse's Mom, they "did" close up shop, but if you have approved mares that are bred to approved stallions, the offspring are eligible for registration. You just have to send all the paperwork to France to get it processed. My understanding is that they are not the fastest moving registry, so it may take a bit of time before you see the paperwork CWC...as in months, not weeks. Good luck!

It took a good 10 months to complete the process for my 2006 colt... and that was when the North American office still existed. I would assume it would take around the same time (maybe shorter, without the "middle man"?) now that your dealing directly with France.

It was 9 - 10 months for me also with NASFA handling the paperwork. I wouldn't be surprised if it took a year.
