Piaffe~Passage

Friday, I brought my Schroeder colt, Evangelo Hit, aka Linus to his first show. He was born April 26th, so he is still pretty young. He was spectacular, I couldn't of asked for him to be better. Took everything in stride, fell asleep while I braided him, literally. Clipped his nose with no halter on, he could of cared less. To top things off he won his In-Hand class, with a %70.300. With comments such as "nice shoulder reach, free suspension" "Seems gentle, willing, and smart" He got a 7.5 on his trot, I want to say a 6.5 on his walk(could be wrong), 7.0 for conformation, and a 7.3 for overall impression. I was very pleased with how he did. 2nd place was a 63.5, and third was a 58.something, they both were nice horses. One a TB, and the other I'm not sure. I was a proud mom, especially being that this is my first time breeding, and my first, yes first, horse. :D I've ridden dressage on other's horses for years, and it was finally time to create my own. I leased the mare from my good friend. She is a 21 year old TB this year, and worth her weight in gold. She will be retired after she is done with Linus.
