I love the stampede (I just watch on tv, but I'd love to go out there one day) and I hope it doesn't get taken away buy protests...

Those groups also protest at dog shows.
When our club has an obedience or agility dog show, we have to provide security any more, to keep those fanatics from doing things like letting the dogs run free, free to get lost and hit by cars.:no:

Sounds like those injuries were accidents, just as they happen in anything we do with our horses.

Every injury that happens anywhere is sad, but it is life, we learn from it and hope we are providing well enough so that doesn't keep happening.

Too bad that those fanatics used those accidents to get publicity and so donations.

There are certain parts that I prefer not to watch but as someone who loves eventing and thbd racing....I refrain from throwing stones.
