Anyone know this vet or had experience with him? Apparently he relocated from California to Quakertown vet and is considered a lameness specialist? Feel free to PM me.

I met him early this week when he came out to treat a boarder's horse with hives. He explained things very well to the owner and solved the problem - a limited but positive experience. I do like a vet that explains things.

Brad is a good guy- he is smart, knowledgable, friendly, and honest. About 10 years ago, he came out to see a lame horse as a favor to me (a colleague). Been so long, can't remember what the problem was. Haven't seen him in a very long time but I'm sure he hasn't changed.

He did a surgery on my mare this spring to remove an abcess and infection in her c1 vertabre. He was very informative and helpful. Nice guy too. I don't always think of the right questions to ask, but it seemed like he covered everthing without me having to ask. I would go back to him again if I needed to.

I brought my horse to him while he was at San Luis Rey equine hospital here in California. I found him to be excellent at explaining the "what" & "why" of how he came to the conclusions he did. Personally I prefer to have a vet as works a partner in my horse's care, rather than someone who tries to just tell me what to do. We ended up deciding NOT do surgery on the gutteral pouch based on the risk/benefit to my horse, rather than anyone's pocketbook (no serious discomfort vs. possible permenant nerve damage). I am seriously bummed out that he moved. It's sooo hard to find anyone that's willing to deal with the "wierd" stuff, but Brad actually seemed excited to deal with something different & challenging!
