From what part of the spine do I start to measure from and where do stop? I am thinking that the YL or the XXS might work, but I don't know the points to measure the spine from!! Any help would be great :)

I would measure from the top of a shirt collar, like a crew neck t-shirt or polo, down to your LS joint.

For comparison, I am 5'3", an XS/S in street clothes/ tops, 10 in a show coat, 34 in a show shirt; I wear a YM or XXS in the Tipperary (as fitted by the Tipperary rep). I ended up with the adult size b/c I wanted the little extra coverage in the back. But if you are short-bodied, I would go with the youth size. :)
