I need help coming up with a show name for my horse. We are looking to do our first show this summer! I gave him the name Apollo when I picked him out of a field in North Dakota at the age of 3 months. However I am at a loss for a show name for him as he is not registered with any name. He is a Belgian/QH cross. His sire was a racing quarter horse named Cadillac Coyjack, and his dam was simply named #108. I am not sure if I would want to give him a show name off of his sire's. Apollo is a chesnut/sorrel color with 4 stockings and a big blaze. We will be showing in the hunters most likely starting with pleasure hack classes. He is 5 now but just started cross rails a couple weeks ago so we are not ready for jumping classes just yet. I am going to try and attach some pictures of him from all ages. He is a huge lovebug and I am trying to find a name that reflects it. Any ideas???

I like Apollo108 myself. I'm fairly hopeless with names, but I did want to add that he is totally adorable! Can you come up with a play on "adorable" and "Apollo?"

Can't see the Facebook photos...

But why not go with the Cadillac name?

Coupe de Ville? Fleetwood? El Dorado?

From Wikipedia
"Apollo has been variously recognized as a god of light and the sun; truth and prophecy; archery; medicine and healing; music, poetry, and the arts; and more"

From this you could do something using a synonym for one of the things apollo represents.

For light:
illuminate/illumination
ablaze (since he does have a blaze)
radiant (something like 'pure radiance' since he is light colored)
gleam

For truth:
axiom
veritas (latin word for truth)

For Prophecy:
Revelation

For Heal:
Vigoratus (latin word for heal)

Some of these stand well by themselves and others would need something to go with them.

I really Like Axiom and Veritas.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions! They are a huge help. I am glad other people see how adorable he is because I know how bias I am.
