I'm looking for an all purpose quilted saddle pad, that I can use as a daily pad.
I have a new close contact saddle, that was custom designed for my horse and I don't need any extra padding.
But I do want a pad that gives a little cushion and absorbs the sweat.
I bought one from SmartPak and it's way too big to use in the hot weather.
Any suggestions???? :)

I like the Lettia pads. They're great quality and seem to do the job!
For a thinner pad, I like the Perri's ribbon pads. They're cute and wash really well, although they're substantially thinner than the Lettia pads.

I like the ones by Classic Equine. Good sized and hold their shape well.

PRI pads, hands down. They wear like iron, keep their shape and come in lots of colors, from festive (purple with pink piping) to conservative (white with black piping, hunter with tan, etc.). Equus Now will monogram them if you like. ;)

Dover 9.99 pads! They hold their shape and lay flatly against the body.

Another fan of the Dover pads, though I like the baby pads even more. They're actually just about the only things that I'll buy from Dover these days (well, that and ivermectin) that don't make me regret the cost of shipping.

I like the Thinline Contender (http://www.thinlineinc.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=130) pad. It is a great shape, has the Back on Track quilted pad with the thinline sewn on top. No added bulk but you get the benifit of the thinline and back on track material. It washes up easy in the washer and comes in white or black. .LOVE this pad!

I LOVE Lettia Cool Max pads....and EOUS pads.

It looks like you're way up north and might not deal with the daily extreme heat that we do down here, but do you think the Cool Max is really any cooler?

I just got this pad and it is awesome! Yay!

For the person who mentioned the Ecogold pads... these are majorly on my wishlist but they are incredibly expensive.

I LOVE the Lettia Coolmax AP Pad. I just wish it came in Pony Size as my saddle flap is WAY too small for the regular sized one.
