Day three of cart training (that is, being hitched to a cart). I love this mare.
Robert had her walk, trot, canter, serpentines, backing, whoaing and standing very still. Yup...this is day three.
The video quality turned out poorly and I rotated the camera, thinking I had rotation software in my movie editing (turns out I don't).

We drove her this morning (day four) and she was perfect. We took her for a little trail drive, down a hill and did some ring work. She backed like she has been doing it for years, she is laterally bending and I just SO happy with her.
I think all my prep, plus a year of dressage training paid off (she had 7 months off this winter/spring for baby duty). She is the first Perch we put a lot of dressage training on before breaking to cart, I definitely like the results of the saddle dressage training before driving. She just knows all this stuff!
