Are there any horses by Victory Gallop eventing? When I saw him walk to the starting gate at the derby I knew he would be a good/ athletic horse:yes: and che certainly proved his stamina in the Belmont;I once saw a brief video of one of hisg get who, looked very much like an eventing type:cool:, I realize his stud fee might put him out of range for most:sadsmile: eventers; but, some of his get might come up  at a winter sale

A friend of mine just recently had two sons of Victory Gallop as eventers. One she bought through Canter from Suffolk Downs, the other she found in Florida over the winter. Both are very athletic, good jumpers and have very good minds.
Unfortunately, Victory Gallop was sold and moved to Turkey a few years ago, so we won't be seeing any new babies of his here in the US.

Pardon me for side tracking...Prado Power, your namesake was one of my favorites to watch at Suffolk last season. :)
I'm rather fond of El Prado and Victory Gallop, and was fortunate enough to meet both (before VG was sold.)

Yes, when the day comes that VG is no longer of service to the Turkish Jockey Club, he will return to Winstar for retirement.

We have one at our farm that has gone Prelim. He's very, very nice and an athlete, if an opinionated soul in the tack. On the ground, beautifully easy and a sweet, funny horse. :)
