I notice that the qualifying period for 2009 AECs runs from the beginning of July 2008 to the end of August 2009, ie 13 months. Does this mean that the qualifying period for 2010 will also include August ? Does anyone know the qualifying dates for 2010 ?

ok, then ... does anyone know if the AEC qualifying 'year' is usually more than a year... or do you think that the period for 2010 will run from the END of August onwards ?

What I'm getting at is that it seems as though there would be nearly a month in which you could get a qualifying run for both 2009 and 2010. Is this the case ?

I have seen other years that there has been a 13 month qualifying window, fwiw in predicting 2010...

you'd think they'd say, by now, wouldn't you ! I mean, I have closing dates coming up next week - but I still don't know if they have any relevance for me !

Since the WEG is held in September of 2010 and the AEC's are usually in September, too, what will happen next year? Will the AEC's be moved to another month?

The Eventing part of the WEG is scheduled for September 30th - October 3rd according to one Area calendar I've received. As quoted in the original AEC 2010 thread, http://www.chronicleforums.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=209915&page=2 they're at Chattahoochee Hills in Georgia on September 8th - 12th.

Thanks, ksbadger. Since my husband and I are just volunteering for the Eventing portion of the WEG, we should be all right. Of course, this is under the presumption that we will qualify for the 2010 AEC's. ;)
