Ditto the Cowboy Magic Green Spot Remover. Add corn starch or baby powder. And a lot of rub rags. Yes, I have a grey.

I can't live without my Nuun. They are little electrolyte tabs (think something like Emergen-C) that you drop into your water for instant gatorade. They come in a little tube and they are small enough to put one or two in a ziplock and put in your pocket - if someone hands you a bottle of water, just drop one in and go. The company also makes another kind with vitamins in it. In the AZ heat, these are the only things that prevent headaches!

Good footing. And there better be something other than a port-a-potty.

I love those Cactus Cloths, too! They are the best rags ever!

Rubbing Alcohol in a spray bottle (cleans spots, helps cool the horse down, great as a brace)

Rain coat (never go to a show without one)
Cooler of Diet Coke
Altoids (for the horse - she expects them at shows)

Visine, no joke-my eyes get so dry and scratchy at horse shows. I admit it looks a little odd, keeping a bottle of visine in my ring tote-taking my sunglasses off and exposing my REALLY red eyes then squirting visine in my eyes.

Pepto-cannot live without it, my stomach does some funky things when I get up before 7 am (even if it is not a horse show, I just deal with it during the work week, but don't need to be running to the bathroom every 15 minutes at a horse show).

Towels

Obviously there are alot of things that I don't want to deal without, but those are the things that I would be miserable without.

I have to say my husband is rapidly becoming invaluable. I used to go shows all by myself- now I even trust him to wrap my horse for trailering! (which I really don't take lightly). At the last show there was an intersting moment where I was asked to ride a class at the last minute and he literally totally tacked up my horse for me. Amazing!! :D
It's nice having a groom.

As far as stuff goes-

Unscented all natural baby wipes. You can clean ANYTHING with them.
Joint Juice (like vitamin water but with glucosamine)
Aleve (so if my joints are bad I can still ride- there is no pain an obscene amount of aleve cannot hide)
My note book and pen for writing down my courses
SPF 70+ spray on sunscreen
Powerbars (usually the only thing my stomach can handle)

Wow- I sound old. I really am not as old as this post makes me sound. I guess it will be my Arthritis awareness post ;) It's not just for older people anymore.

Oh my gosh, I wish there was just one thing. I would say sun glasses to wear while waiting around all day to show. :) I also must have lots of beverages, including G2, water, and diet coke for the day time, and Miller Lite for after I'm done. :)

(And you can't forget peppermints and carrots!!)

I can't believe I forgot to list Clonazapam on mine! That Klonopin has been a life saver on some classic days! And my iPod is with me at all times too. Helps to keep me relaxed and focused while waiting to show.
