Those that had billets replaced in the last few years, ahow many $ are we talking? I know it varies but just to get a feel for what it would be.

TIA.

Oh man I need to raise my prices. I do premium chrome leather for $10 for short and $15 for long. I do charge and extra $10 if I have to drop the front... I've been charging that for over 11 years though I guess times are changing!

I think I paid $80, but that was an easy 8 years ago.

For all 4 (long billets) -

When saddle rep did it about $125.
When local tack seamstress (?? correct title) did it $53.

More if replacing the billets means taking the saddle apart, but since mine are nylon inside the saddle she only had to replace leather part outside of saddle body - so it was easy.

I think I was quoted a price of $150 or $200, and that was several years ago. I am in New York though, everything is expensive here. :(

Worth it to pay ~$100 for saddle and $175 for billets for a 25 y/o saddle?

Dont expect anyone to answer that without lots of information. :D

Ebay auction with one shot of saddle. Ive asked for more. Saddle is S/W. We have a saddle for sale, an older saddle that needs billets to, and one that I never will sell--LOFF it. Ive heard S/W are good saddles with a larger seat.

We have 3 riders--hence I need 3 saddles. Right?

I paid $250 for an ahem - older - Crosby and then put new billets on. Totally worth it to me. :)
