I recently purchased this gelding for my fiance. We would love to find more information on him. We purchased him from SAR in Hollister, CA. We were told he was once on the jumper circuit. He came with the name Skyhawk and he is a warmblood of some sort, he has a brand but it is too light to see what it is...I think he is Dutch. He has 2 hind stockings and a blaze, also a white splotch on his hiney.

Dutch WB's are not branded, so if he has a brand, he is not dutch.

some of the older Dutch WBs are branded

Try soaking the brand with water and taking a picture with a flash in a dark stall. If you clip it, you could probably make it out better as well. Good luck

I had a dutch warmblood that was branded. Is was a lion in a shield, and there was some other stuff too but thats basically what it looked like. A picture of the brand is in the link, just scroll to dutch warmblood.

No clues as to the identity of the horse, but I believe that the last year Dutch WBs were branded was '96.

Yeah his brand is very very faint....so he could be pretty much anything, I was told he was an Eq horse at indio and was once a grand prix jumper, was hoping to find out his history
