How many different places can you measure a horse's pulse with
1) a stethoscope
2) with your fingers.
This is a question on a test I need to take tomorrow to get my rider's license (required here in Denmark to come higher up than LB)

Well, it seems you would have already taken your exam (hope you did well!) but you can take a horse's pulse with a stethoscope behind the left elbow. With your fingers, you would find the pulse under the jaw, or on the inside of the fetlock, and I suppose you could feel for the pulse under the elbow too, if you didn't have a stethoscope. :)
