View Full Version : Rubbers! except not really "rubber"...

I had a friend who had these awesome tall boot foot covers, like the rubbers, except they were a cloth-like material... I have asked her a million times what they were called/who made them and I have forgotten - again. I fear that if I ask her one.more.time. she will, no doubt, question my comeptence at life (fair enough, right?)
Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? I've searched Smartpak, dover, SLT and cannot find these.

While we're at it, anyone have any tips at remembering things? ;)

I know Futi's but I thought the OP wanted something for tall boots, I guess I mis-read her post. I prefer my Futi's over my rubbers because of the way they fit over the heel of the boot.

I know for sure that Dover has Futi's, so do many local tack shops, they are everywhere and better than rubbers IMO.

FUTIs!!! The guy at EquiVenture knew exactly what I was talking about... too bad he was out of them. I knew the minute he said it that that was what Sar had told me... It's always the dumbest, simplest things that I forget.

I absolutely hate the rubbers, and these are just sooooo nice. Now back to searching for a cheap set... ;) THANKS!

BAC - no one around here (CO) knew what I was talking about, they only knew the rubbers. I knew I should have bought them back east last summer, but kept spacing it out (do we sense a theme here?)
