Looking for a half pad with pommel and cantle rolls for my "new to me" Sommer Endurance saddle. It is an english style saddle with western
type bars, so pad needs to be approx 26" along spine . . . Also, not looking
for a real thick pad, saddle fits nicely so no need for extra bulk. Any
suggestions?? "Normal" half pads appear to be too short for my needs. Thanks!

I'd suggest you look at the Thinline pads, http://www.thinlineinc.com and see if any of their half pads would work. the ones with sheepskin "rolls" may not be long enough but they have other half pads that are longer and have straps to connect them to the saddle billets. They make a huge range of pads.

I have a Toklat woolback pad that is about 28 in. and it is a great fit with my round skirt trail saddle and my dressage saddle. It is only about an inch thick, maybe not even that, and is my go-to pad for the least amount of thickness with a saddle that fits really well. I also love that it stays put and is natural fiber against the horse. This pad is at least 4 years old and still looks pretty good despite lots of use. Good luck!!
