This is somewhat of a crosspost... but not everyone here visits the breeder forum.
I have a mare at 343 today, and the bugs are absolutely voracious. I have bites all over me from just two checks last night--including one on my CHEEK that makes me look like Rocky. And it looks like I'll have to sleep outside when the time comes as I've no camera yet this year.
I need something that is safe for the mare--who also is full of welts. Poor girl is supposed to be white, and she's a mess. Her pink skin udder is awful... But also something for me that when the wee one rubs up against me (as WILL happen during this process) isn't harmful...
