Again, another kudos for the Bug Block. Cheap and effective. Rode for 3 hours today, in lots of tall grass and woods. When we got back, he had 4 ticks on him, but they were dead. Apparantly, the ticks grab on, then die. I mearly had to pick them off.

fantastic.. I love it because it doesn't have a smell. Other bug sprays give me migraines.

How long does it last, does it sweat off easily? Does it repels mosquitoes too?

Just cuz they're dead doesn't mean they haven't already injected Lyme poison! (i thought there was a gagging icon, no?!)

But I dont think they did bite... I could literally brush them off. They weren't "attached". The ticks are absolutely awful in Virginia this year. I'm a shop owner and have tried EVERYTHING on the shelf. This has been the best for ticks. I dont have many mosquitos at home, so I can't say how Bug Block would work on those. It does reduce the amount of those dang, blood biting, flies with wings ... but does not keep them all at bay. I'm not exactly how long it lasts. I dont have ticks on the farm, just out on the trails. I spray it on their legs before we leave, when we get back the ticks are on them (not attached, just stuck to them) and dead. I ride every day, so each morning I've been spraying their legs before we go out. I dont' want to take the risk of not spraying (to see how long it lasts) and risking the ticks actually biting. We've battled Lymes last year and I never want to do that again.

Thanks for the info Kim, between the ticks and those HUGE biting green flies my poor guy is really struggling :( I hate those stupid things. Going to grab a bottle of that stuff today!
