Itty Bitty Brag- horse's first show

So, Saturday was my baby horse's very first show! I rode him in Training 3 and Training 4, and he was quite the superstar, despite of the 100 degree temperatures.

I have had him 1 year to this day, and we have come a very very long way, from the horse it was too much of a liability to let anyone actually ride him to buy him, I had to chase him around the ring and take a leap of faith. Then we went through: mounting, steering, cantering, left lead cantering, steering again, right lead cantering, steering again, the introduction of the leg yield . . .

But it has all culminated in a fabulous show day, where we won both of our classes with scores of 73.4% and 74%, while a bit generous, it being a schooling show, felt well earned.

Very nicely done! I don't think the scores were 'generous' at all...he looked great. Thanks for posting that...I am doing TL1,2,3,&4 this weekend, so I was reciting the test while watching! :lol:

I agree, lovely test. I think your scores are well deserved ;) Doesn't it feel amazing to take a horse that you've worked so hard on and do so dang well!!! That feeling gets me at every show. All the hard work really pays off.
