Trying to save 5 yearling paint fillies and an approx. 12 y/o Argentine Polo Pony mare from slaughter. A woman who frequents New Holland Auction spotted these horses that had been purchased by a killer buyer and has been able to negotiate with him to allow her to try to find these babies/polo pony private homes before he sends them to slaughter. They were set to ship to Canada today but the broker is allowing us a little more time to try to help these ladies. Time is of the essence since we don't really know how much we have to save them! These horses are all located in or around New Holland, PA. We don't have any pics but these are the descriptions of the fillies and the polo pony per the woman (Kelly) who negotiated with the broker.
Descriptions per Kelly (*it's getting a little dark inside the holding area/descriptions to her best ability):
Hip #476- Ylg. Filly- Buckskin/Chestnut colored.
Hip #401- Ylg. Filly- Solid Chestnut with Blaze and front sock
Hip #478- Ylg. Filly- Bay & White Tobiano Tri colored.
Hip #475- Ylg. Filly- Chestnut & White very loud colored. Tiny scar on left hip.
Hip #479- Ylg. Filly- Bay & White tobiano, perfect heart shape on her forehead.
Hip #026- Approx. 12 y/o Argentine Polo Pony, mare. Approx. 15.0 hds. Bay with white blaze and roached mane/banged tail.
