Under the eyes of our prime minister and her Royal Highnes Queen Beatrix, the Dutch riders battled till the end for the gold medal at CHIO Rotterdam
Imke Schellekens-Bartels and Hunter Douglas Sunrise had the ride of their life, Anky and IPS Salinero did everything they could, and newcomer Sander Marijnissen and his horse Moedwill showed a veryyy good test. This all wasn't enough to beat Edward and Moorlands Totilas.
Allthough Edward & Totilas made two times a serious mistake in the 2-tempi changes, it was obvious that this couple is from another planet. There must have been many 10's on their scoresheet.
After one of the most impressive rides of Imke and Sunrise, Anky and Salinero were thrown back to the third place.
