Oak Brook

Hi there... I'm new to the board, but I've been a little bit of a lurker for a while.
I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I don't know a thing about dressage, but my niece, who I introduced to horses, has caught the bug. She is planning on going to Oak Brook Farms, in Chicago.

If anyone could pm me some info on the farm, I'd appreciate it. I want to know a little bit more before we, you know, ... get attatched?

I started riding at OBF back in the day, and have not been there in a good 10 years, but one of my students teaches there, and I (obviously) think that she is a lovely instructor with a great sense of the proper foundation for a rider. The facility is older and was, at one point, plagued by management issues, but this could no longer be the place.

It's a wonderful old facility with a LONG list of very accomplished riders as alumni from the last 50 years!
