Teff grass ?

Is this a seed that you plant like rye, millet, oats or a plant you transfer like the bermuda grasses. If it is a seed, where can it be bought?

I bought some second cutting (rather fine bladed) Teff thinking that it would be good 'busy grass' hay for over the winter because it looked pretty blah. Horses LOVED it, left alfalfa and really nice Brome for it. I will get more this year, but need alternative busy grass hay.
