The way The Horse (http://www.thehorse.com/ViewArticle.aspx?ID=14396&source=rss) is reporting it, it ALMOST sounds like HRH turned them in herself!! Or am I reading it wrong?
(If she did, big ups to her.)

Just visiting from Dressage and Sport Horse Breeding camps to see what your take on this
latest revelation is.
Question: are these two cases a situation where they didn't know the substances would test ? or was it done with full knowledge of the drugs being used.
I can see it happening once, but twice in the same family...good grief.

Sad - but I don't see it ending.
With the rise of popularity in endurance, we now have to face the fact that we are going to be pressing our noses against the drugged window that other equine disciplines have. :/
I won't be surprised to see an increase in horses testing for banned substance in endurance pretty much from this point on.
I was willing to give HRH/s husband the benefit of the doubt, now again.. same family, same barn.. yada yada.
Kinda obvious to me that doping is a present and condoned practice in their barns at this point.

We have random blood testing in FEI events now. In the big endurance stables I guess a lot of drug admin could occur without the principals being aware, but they have to take responsibility if it is detected. Like other equine sports where money is involved . . . .
