Hey all-
I came across a stray cat this afternoon, and am going to post flyers around the neighborhood over the weekend to see if I can find his owners. However, I can only keep him on a very short-term basis, so I'm putting this notice out now in case no one shows up in the next few days to claim him.
He's an unaltered brown tiger with unusual markings. Rather than stripes, he has dots and dashes throughout his body, with stripes on his legs and tail. White chin, and light green eyes. Very, very pretty and exotic looking. Has the loudest and strangest voice (I thought he was speaking in tongues when he was irate about being in the cat carrier earlier today!). He's very friendly, purrs like a motor boat and seems like an all-around nice kitty. He settled in very quickly at my apartment, and after he was moved to his temporary garage quarters he again quickly made himself at home- he's a very cool customer.
*It was confirmed earlier today that he is most likely a Savannah cat, which is a hybrid cross between a domestic cat and an African Serval. There is a Savannah cat rescue group which may be placing him for me.
Here is a link to his photo- http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/Cammiespike/Houseguest/.
He's in the South Bay, and I'm happy to deliver or meet someone in the greater Los Angeles area if need be.
