Yes, I have checked the rules, but I am having trouble finding the exact answer. I know the Myler Wide Barrel Comfort Snaffle mouthpiece is legal, but I wanted to check that it was legal with the copper inlay. (I actually cannot find this bit without the copper inlay. I don't mind the copper at all if it's legal.) I believe that the mouthpiece of the bit no longer needs to be made entirely of one metal, but I cannot find that in the rules. Am I correct? Is that in the rules, or was the prohibition of more than one metal just removed from the rules?
Any guidance you can give would be appreciated.

My understanding of the rule is that as long as the mouthpiece is smooth (not wrapped in copper wire or twisted wire) that the inlay is legal. I was reading over the bits rules recently and that was my interpretation but I wouldn't swear to it in court!

They TOOK OUT the words that said "must be of one metal", but didn't put in new words saying "may be two or more metals.
But if you look at the Dressage Equipment Booklet
http://www.usef.org/documents/FormsPubs/DressageEquipmentBooklet.pdf
It clearly shows bits with two metals and says that they are legal.

Thank you very much! I appreciate it.
Janet, thanks for the helpful link. The EXACT bit I want (same mouthpiece, same cheekpiece, and same copper inlay) is pictured and listed as legal. :D
